Bring a bit of the Renaissance into your house. Gilded by hand in the old
style, over crimson or charcoal bole (background), and sealed with a high
gloss finish coat. Ideal for any room needing luxurious touches. The gilding
is crackled, so that the underlying color coat shows through. Goes very well
in traditional decors, French styles, Eastlake and Aesthetic-movement
interiors, or in any room featuring Rococo details.
Hand gilded using Italian composition leaf, consisting of a blend of metals
emulating real gold, makes our gilded tiles a luxurious touch available at
real-world prices. Also available in silver leaf. Greatest crackleture
appears on the Kensington pattern tile (shown in the picture).
