Recreate the Victorian Era with Ornate Cornices. Prior to 1920, no room would have been considered complete without a decorative wooden or plaster cornice at the wall-ceiling joint. As a result, cornices are one of the most common features that home restorers have to contend with.

Multi-part wood constructions keep costs low. Single wood pieces of 5" and larger can get quite costly per linear foot. Urban Revivals can create multi-part cornice constructions which, if painted, can be created from pine, poplar, or oak. These cornices combine the grandeur that comes with size and ornament, but at a fraction of the price.
