Ceiling medallions, including Victorian ceiling roses,
were made of plaster and were resident in practically every Victorian
drawing room and parlor, in both grand homes and modest cottages. Some
medallions actually masked pipes that provided escape from fumes
associated with gas heating!
Today, however, our medallions, made of
fibrous plaster (or in some cases, paper) are decorated to match your
style and color schemes. We review sizing with you, select your work
towards an agreement on your color palette (we'll mix samples), acquire
your medallion, paint and glaze, and install it securely into your lath or
joist.
