Urban Revivals can:

• Repair the peeling and chipping that occurs with latex finishes having been wrongly applied to tin ceilings

• Strip finishes from heavily damaged areas

• Carefully sand and grind paint layer build-up from large ceiling areas, taking care to not damage the tin like blasting can. We test for lead, and protect your furnishings.

• Re-expose lower-level oil glazes, finishes, or paints that can form a solid base for a new finish

• Re-lacquer exposed tin, and caulk seam or cornice edges, using oil-based lacquers and polyurethanes

• Halt rusting of metal panels (chromium phosphate applications)

• Apply cream, pastel, or metallic finishes, including glaze coats that can really bring out the detail of your panels!

• As faux finishing experts, we can recreate all types of historical finishes for your panels, and even paint or add decorative cornice moldings (in fibrous plaster, wood, or tin) to recreate the time period associated with your home or business
