Ms. Cheryl Campbell
completed her graduate studies in 1982, leaving historic Charlottesville VA for
the defense sector in the District of Columbia, where she discovered downtown's
beautiful brownstones. From 1985
through the present, she has been continually involved in restoration efforts
for some of the Districts finest homes and condominium or apartment buildings,
joining forces with other preservation experts in the Washington Metro region.
Because of her love of detail and architectural ornament, she has become an
expert in all manners of decorative detail for homes dating from 1885 through
1920s, and has worked with old wood in all manner of old doorways, interior
pediments, paneling, coffered ceilings, antique furniture, and floors. Ms.
Campbell's restoration services have been featured in trade magazines, and her
work can be viewed in homes and apartment buildings across D.C. Ms.
Campbell is particularly interested in restoration and preservation of wood
finishes, wood graining, and faux stone and marble work. She is also directly
responsible for the innovative finishes found within the Urban Revivals
decorative ceiling tile product lines.
With her
husband, David Heberling, they have created a line of distinctive interior
gates, which can be acquired cost effectively, while still featuring
characteristics of custom-built stairs and landings. The plans for these gates
are to be released in book version in early Spring 2007. Ms. Campbell has created
the computer automation necessary to respond to gate quotes and designs across
the USA. Her innovative web-based approach for remote gate fabrication and
custom designing is PATENT PENDING. The success of these gates products is
encompassed in the GATES2U product line at
http://www.gatestoyou.com Mr. David Heberling has been
responsible for creating the facilities and expanding production of this
exciting new product line (debuted in 2005). Our shop completed its
build-out in 2008, with gate sales resuming after Christmas.
Ms. Campbell
continues to also maintain ownership and management interest in a number of D.C.
companies, including IT GlobalSecure, Inc., and Quixotic Solutions, Inc.,
makers of game security products. She was formerly senior manager for reconnaissance systems at TRW for defense programs, as well as manager of the U.S.
Treasury Internet Modernization Program. Her skills in Internet web site
design, systems development, marketing, and secure e-commerce solutions benefit
Urban Revivals LLC and its affiliated companies, by allowing them to reach
