FAUX MARBLE USING WALLPAPERS

Urban Revivals uses a wide variety of highly reputable suppliers of wall coverings, some of who carry papers mimicking marble, granite, stone, and other more fanciful patterns. While baseboards can be faux marbled via paint and glazed-based techniques, some budgets may be better served by solutions using wallpaper, covered with a durable polyurethane for extra protection.

Marble Moldings - Faux Paper Application

Urban Revivals can apply these papers securely to baseboard moldings, and then varnish them in multiple layers, to protect the paper finish from scuffs and dings. For larger baseboards, we can apply the paper to each piece of baseboard, and then "build up" the larger baseboard. For example, the picture above consists of three running baseboards, installed together as a modular unit.
