AGING AND DISTRESSING

Urban Revivals can help imitate the effects of time on paint, wood, plaster, plastic, and even papers. An antique finish adds a warm and inviting feel to your room's decor. These techniques are created with any number of materials, such as wax, rottenstone, and oil glazes, depending on the technique employed. We can perform any of these techniques:

	Aging of plaster and plaster castings (shellac with liming wax)
	Crackle lacquers - ideal for furniture
	Fly spotting - for aging of furniture and moldings
	Tinted varnishes and antiquing waxes - all surfaces
	Cracked and distressed paint finishes
	Aged plaster walls (smooth faux as well as distressed real plaster)
	Renaissance finishes using rottenstone/wax
	Pale color washes (ideal for doors)
	These techniques are ideal for inexpensive furniture!
