VIEW OUR LATEST ENCAUSTIC TILE PROJECT

Our latest project: restoration of a 1916 condominium lobby with Maw Greek Revival tiles.

	TILE WALL PICTURES   Urban Revivals works with local tile suppliers to locate tile "pictures" that can add tremendous visual interest to your walls. These picture images consist, typically, of 16-24 tiles, and span an area of approximate 2' by 3' up to 3' by 5'. Many of these tiles come from local immigrants, or are imported from Tunisia. They are reminiscent of the English Tubeline tiles, with their saturated colors, and raised edge lines. They are formed from two firings, hand painted with colored glazes, and have a "relief" appearance. In order to fit with your decor, we typically double frame these tiles, using wallpaper as a faux mat between the inner and outer frame. Tiles may be inset, or applied directly to the wall. The inner frame and tile adhesives help ensure the permanent positioning of these tiles. Contact Us for a custom quote.
