STIPPLING
Stippling
is a technique done using delicate brushwork with transparent oil
glazes. Stippling casts a soft veil of color over any wall, and adds a
visual richness and texture. Glazes, when applied to a new or freshly
painted wall, adds an antique richness.
Urban
Revivals will stipple your walls or other surfaces only after you have
had an opportunity to view the base coat color applied with a sample
glaze coat. (We can also stipple over printed papers). Surface
preparation is important; stippling benefits when the underlying surface
does not have any holes or gouges. We recommend that the glaze coat be
varnished upon completion, for long-lasting beauty (though this coat is
not required).
